Solving Problems Efficiently, Effectively & Decisively (SPEED) is a
problem solving workshop that prepares and enables participants to analyse risks and issues into the four problem types of: Processes, Decisions, Relationships and Motivation and analyse and create solutions for each type
After attending this workshop, learners will be able to do the following:
• Analyse problems into Process, Decisions, Relationships
& Motivation
• Create solutions that are relevant to the problems
identified
• Identify and analyse the factors that contribute to
process inefficiency
• Make weighted decisions and choose the most rational
solution
• Manage relationship issues and personality conflicts at
home and at work
• Develop a strong motivation to continue solving
problems using whatever tools are available

Course structure
Learning Outcome: Students will be able to use analytical and critical thinking tools to identify whether a problem is a risk or issue and deconstruct it into its individual problem types.

Learning Outcome : : Students will be able to identify different relationship styles and adapt to manage their
expectations and/ or emotions and come to a collaborative approach. They will also be able to read body language and
use that knowledge to persuade others.

Learning Outcome: Students will be able to evaluate their people’s purpose and coach them to have a greater
reason to perform.

high-level workplan for the next year, a medium-level workplan for the next month and a ground-level detailed workplan for the next week
