Solving Problems Efficiently, Effectively & Decisively (SPEED) is a problem solving workshop that prepares and enables participants to analyse risks and issues into the four problem types of: Processes, Decisions, Relationships and Motivation and analyse and create solutions for each type.

Course structure

Learning Outcome: Participants will be able to use analytical and critical thinking tools to identify whether a problem is a risk or issue and deconstruct it into its individual problem types.
Tools: PDRM: Process, Decision, Relationship, Motivation
Learning Outcome: Participants will be able to identify different relationship styles and adapt to manage their expectations and/ or emotions and come to a collaborative approach. They will also be able to read body language and use that knowledge to persuade others.
Tools: Social Style
Learning Outcome: Participants will be able to map a process from start to finish, analyse its weaknesses and propose improvements to the process.

Learning Outcome: Participants will be able to critically analyse options without emotional noise and justify a choice based on weighted analysis.

Learning Outcome: Participants will be able to evaluate their people’s purpose and coach them to have a greater reason to perform. Tools: Purpose Alignment Model: Belief, Intention, Promises and Actions
Learning Outcome: Participants will be able to use creative and lateral thinking tools to create possible solutions to individual problem types.
